Terms & Conditions (Service Agreement)

Introduction

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between Pineworks (“we”, “us”, “our”) and the customer(“you”, “your”). By booking, paying for, or receiving any services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms in full.

 

1.Services

Pineworks provides mobile vehicle detailing services at a location specified by the customer. Services may include interior detailing,exterior detailing, and optional add-on services expressly agreed prior to commencement.

1.1 Results are dependent on vehicle condition and are not guaranteed.
1.2 Pineworks does not guarantee the complete removal of stains, scratches, odours, pet hair, mould, or permanent damage.
1.3 Any service not expressly agreed in advance is excluded.

 

2.Mobile Service Requirements

You are solely responsible for ensuring that the service location and vehicle are suitable for mobile detailing.

You must provide:

●    Safe, legal, and unrestricted access to the vehicle

●    Adequate working space

●    Access to water and electricity unless otherwise agreed in writing

●    Vehicle keys at the agreed appointment time

Failure to meet these requirements may result in cancellation of the service and treatment as a no-show, with applicable charges.

 

3.Appointments & Scheduling

3.1 Appointment times are estimated arrival windows only and not guaranteed.
3.2 Pineworks is not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, mechanical issues, or prior appointments.
3.3 Appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled at Pineworks’ discretion due to adverse weather or unsafe working conditions.

 

4.Pricing & Payment

4.1 Prices are indicative and based on vehicle size,condition, and selected services.
4.2 Pineworks reserves the right to apply additional charges for vehicles deemed excessively dirty or misrepresented at booking.
4.3 Payment is due immediately upon completion of services, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
4.4 Accepted payment methods: Cash, Bank Transfer.

Non-payment may result in refusal of future services.

 

5.Cancellations, Rescheduling & No-Shows

5.1 A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling.
5.2 Cancellations within 24 hours may incur a cancellation fee of £15.00.
5.3 Failure to provide access to the vehicle or be present at the appointment time constitutes a no-show and may be charged in full.

 

6.Vehicle Condition & Pre-Existing Damage

6.1 You acknowledge that vehicles may have pre-existing damage, including but not limited to scratches, dents, faded paint, loose trim,or interior wear.
6.2 Pineworks accepts no liability for the aggravation or discovery of pre-existing damage.
6.3 Pineworks may photograph or record the vehicle before and after service for documentation and evidence purposes.

 

7.Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pineworks shall not be liable for:

●    Pre-existing damage or defects

●    Mechanical, electrical, or electronic failures

●    Failure or malfunction of aftermarket or defective components

●    Normal wear and tear

●    Damage caused by unsuitable working surfaces or site conditions

7.1 Any claim must be reported within 24 hours of service completion.
7.2 Pineworks’ total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the service in question.
7.3 Pineworks shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including loss of use, loss of income, or inconvenience.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where exclusion would be unlawful under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including the right for services to be carried out with reasonable care and skill.

 

8.Satisfaction & Re-Service

8.1 Any dissatisfaction must be raised immediately upon completion, before the vehicle is driven or removed.
8.2 Re-service, if any, is offered at Pineworks’ sole discretion.
8.3 No refunds are issued once a service has been completed, except where required by law.

 

9.Customer Responsibilities

You agree to:

●    Remove all personal belongings and valuables prior to service

●    Secure or remove fragile or loose items

●    Ensure the vehicle is insured,road-legal, and safe to work on

Pineworks accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to personal items left in the vehicle.

 

10.Health, Safety & Biohazards

10.1 Pineworks reserves the absolute right to refuse service where a vehicle presents health or safety risks, including:

●    Mould or severe mildew

●    Biohazards (blood, vomit, bodily fluids, needles)

●    Pest infestations

10.2 Where service is accepted, additional hazard charges may apply.

 

11.Weather Policy

11.1 As a mobile service, appointments may be rescheduled due to adverse weather or unsafe conditions.
11.2 Pineworks is not responsible for post-service deterioration caused by weather, driving conditions, or environmental exposure.

 

12.Photos & Marketing

Unless you opt out in writing, you grant Pineworks an irrevocable, royalty-free right to use non-identifying photographs or videos of your vehicle for marketing and promotional purposes.

All media remains the property of Pineworks.

 

13.Warranty Disclaimer

Pineworks provides services on an “as-is” basis and makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding:

●    Longevity of results

●    Protection against environmental or third-party factors

 

14.Indemnification

You agree to fully indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Pineworks, its owners, employees, and contractors from any claims, losses,damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from or related to:

●    Undisclosed or pre-existing vehicle defects

●    Mechanical or electrical failures not caused by Pineworks’ negligence

●    Aftermarket parts or modifications

●    Unsafe, illegal, or unsuitable service locations

●    Inaccurate or incomplete information provided by you

●    Third-party claims relating to the vehicle or service location

This clause survives completion of services.

 

15.Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

 

16.Changes to Terms

Pineworks reserves the right to amend these Terms at anytime. Updated Terms take immediate effect upon publication or communication.

 

17.Acceptance

Booking, payment, or receipt of services constitutes unconditional acceptance of these Terms.

 

18.Right to Refuse Service

Pineworks reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services at any time, including for unsafe conditions, aggressive behaviour, or misrepresentation of vehicle condition.

 

19.Packages, Discounts & Promotions

●    All packages, discounts, and promotions are non-refundable and non-transferable

●    Services must be used within any stated validity period

●    Unused services have no cash value

●    Discounts cannot be combined unless expressly stated

●    Packages apply only to the specified vehicle(s)

●    Pineworks may withdraw or modify offers at any time

●    Breach of cancellation or no-show policies may result in forfeiture of package services

20.Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful,invalid, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be deemed severed from the Terms and shall not affect the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions, which shall continue in full force and effect.

21.Force Majeure

Pineworks shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these Terms where such failure or delay results from events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:

●    Severe weather conditions (Flooding,fire, or natural disasters)

●    Accidents or breakdowns

●    Government actions or restrictions

●    Power, water, or utility outages

●    Illness or incapacity

In such circumstances, Pineworks reserves the right to cancel or reschedule appointments without liability.
